Gefällt mir gut, weiter so!
Startet manchmal garnicht. Hoffe auf gründliches update, dann gibts fünf sterne.
This is by far the best Pomodoro app on the App Store. It seamlessly integrates on your Apple Watch, lock screen, and as a widget. To top things off, their support team is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to any student or people who struggle with distractions!
This is perfect
Focus has been up on my phone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac pretty much daily for many years. My kids have also worked Focus into their day-to-day efforts at school. It is a simple app with some pretty helpful tools and near perfect synchronization across devices. This keeps staying on task (and taking breaks) much more natural. I’m very grateful I discovered Focus Timer so many years ago.

1 area for improvement, and its minor, but calendar integration whereby the first focus session automatically triggers and thus the day is set. Minus absolute perfection (and I’m picking) best focus / task management app and I have trialed them ALL. The widgets and aesthetics is a fantastic touch! Well done, team focus. Citizen Warrior Foundation thanks you helping us prepare for our upcoming Celsius Network & FTX Awareness Campaign.
One of the best apps for this project, I love it.
Absolutely love using this Pomodoro task/work timer. Helps me get through a lot of focused/chill working sessions.
This was a great and simple app, good UI and free. Then it got updated and locked everything behind a paywall FOR A TIMER. Maybe for another person it’ll be worth it, but for me I’m afraid I’m out.
Some people just want mm DC y
NOW
Please make an appropriately priced one time purchase option and I’m in. I have subscription fatigue and I can’t do another one for a timer…even if this one is great. Thank you!
$40 dollars for a timer is overpriced. Some features are just not needed. To clarify, I think it will be good to keep it simple, remove unused features keep the price lower to sell to more people. 5 stars to quick response from the developers.
You literally have to pay $40 a year to even use this app… and the whole idea of the app is just a slightly more intuitive timer… so $40/yr for a timer. I’m so tired of every single app having a subscription system when it is 100% not needed. Just more greed
Am a devoted user on the iPhone / Mac apps, and enjoying the Vision App, but… … either it’s me, or the app, but it’s quite ‘large’ in my environment, and would be great if I could get a smaller ‘widget’ like version on the VisionPro to use. Aside from that, it integrates great with my phone / Mac, and is always on when I’m using the VisionPro. Love it!
The app needs to have the ability to duplicate tasks. That would be helpful for a full time mom like myself who has to do the same tasks everyday
This helps me stay on track and complete task while also reminded me to take small breaks. Such a great app. Hopefully early adopters will get a discount after the year is up.
I have been using this Vision Pro app, having it load underneath my wirelessly connected MacBook screen. I love being able to mark off tasks with just a glance and tap, and then go back to my MacBook’s screen. This app has several amazing organizational tools that are really helping me - Thank You!
This app is hands down the best Pomodoro app on the App Store. I tried all of them and no other comes close in terms of supported devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac…) or features (seamless sync, Widgets, etc.). Love this app!
1. The session screen tap is super sensitive and often triggers when I don’t want to adjust the time. Could you use a less fancy time input method? 2. The action button shortcut only pauses, doesn’t begin a session, it would be incredible to be able to just press the action button to appropriately begin, pause, resume the session. Thank you for making the app, I do really love it!
Really good and streamlined! My biggest request would be for the Apple Watch app to be more consistent about vibrating upon completion of a focus session. Sometimes I check my watch and it’s already been minutes past the session. Reliable wrist vibration at the end of each session (and end of each break) would make this a 5/5 app for me!
Having used Focus since 2019 I'm happy to say it still holds up thanks to the various updates. I use it daily and I would definitely recommend it.
it looks promising but way too buggy to give a decent review. i added a widget to try out the interactive widgets and now whenever i open the app i have no control over the timer. only way to pause it is to use the widget, or let the time run out. no way to restart timers
Awesome app on all devices! Works perfectly with iOS 17.
I have to focus on myself. Being myself. Feeling better and not be lonely
Good app! Worth the download!
I have been an off and on user of Focus for a long time. The latest update adds much needed UI love, and works so much better, especially on my iPad. Great work! One area I think could use some love is the Apple Shortcuts. I can only speak for myself here but being able to add new tasks using Apple shortcuts would vastly improve my workflow. For example, it would allow me to create a shortcut to import all my daily tasks from Reminders. If I had a wishlist the two shortcuts would be “Create task with title and date” and “Filter/find existing tasks” to complete the “search and sync” features using shortcuts. Additionally, a game changing feature would be the ability to automatically trigger the app to change the OS level Focus modes when starting/stopping sessions (or maybe just trigger shortcuts instead). For now I use Apple shortcuts to start DND at the same time as starting a Focus timer in the app, but I would love to be able to exit DND during breaks and automatically resume DND when my break is over. Overall this is a great update and I love seeing it! The simplicity of this app makes it one of the best, and with some of the features above I think it would stand above the rest for me and instant 5 star. I am going to resubscribe for now. I know you can’t promise anything but I wanted to be sure to share my thoughts. Keep up the great work!
Can’t say enough good things about this app! I’m studying for a promotional exam currently and this app has helped me know when to take breaks but not for too long. There are plenty of options to customize and very helpful to have it on many platforms to use on the go or while at a desk. Keep up the great work with the app! If I could give one suggestion, which is actually more of a request, I would like to see a kid mode or kid options in the app that could help them see a timer for brushing their teeth or bed time reading of some sort. I also have some kids that are close to being teenagers and as they use the app it would be cool for them to be able to customize the background timer as a cool image of choice. Anyway, something to consider and explore for the future. It was just a thought during my study break. I need to get back to the books. Great app, studying is rough but much better when you have something that just tells you when to do it! Thanks again!!
I’ve been using Focus for quite some time and it’s fantastic at what it does! Highly recommend for anyone looking to track their time throughout the day or while working on various projects or tasks. App works seem less across iOS, iPadOS, MacOS and WatchOS.
I have been using this app for almost a year. I don’t think I would have gotten through first year of medical school without it. However, recently, I can’t add new tasks or adjust the time required for the tasks. The app keeps forcing me out. I removed the app and reinstalled it 3 times, and I still have the same issue. The app also fails to tell me that the timer is up!
I have loved Focus and been a fan of its design and function since 2016. I remember thinking that I didn't need a Pomodoro timer, but that I wanted to try out the app. I'm glad I did. If you find yourself needing to focus without distraction, and want to allow your self. Some breaks in between focused sets of work, look no further. This application has a great watch app, iPhone, iPad, and Mac counterparts. The Team has really done a great job with this update! You can drag OmniFocus task right into it, or use their "Add to Focus" Share Sheet feature in Things, for example. This way you can set aside time to focus on your important tasks for the day. Keep up the great work.

I love this app, but recently it became unreliable in terms of sending break and focus notifications on time. I will only continue using this app once it’s fixed.
I like this app but I would love to be able to see my activity for the day, not just the month!
Thanks
Is there a way to edit your start or end time if neede? Sometimes I May forget to start the task once I start doing it. Or I forget to end it whI am done.
It’s strange that the app stops after each break. I find that lazy side tries to exploit this by taking a longer break or by simply forgetting about the timer altogether— to far too much of an “out.” There should at least be an option in settings that allows the user to set the app so that the work session begins automatically following each break. It would also be nice if the breaks had a distinct sounding tick so that they could easily be distinguished and so that you can always know whether you are working or on break.
Very basic but integrated with the apple ecosystem
I don't know how I subscribe for yearly. Okay let me say it's my fault. As soon as I realize that and it doesn’t work for me, I tried to canceled it. But there was no way to contact you guys. So, you rub my $45. 😔
I’ve found this to be the best timer tool since it syncs across devices.
The lock-screen widget / apple watch complication are generally broken. The widget shows a progress bar that seems to sync but the timing does not move. The complication straight up doesn’t work or is out of sync (showing break when a focus session is in progress, or just a white bar)
Sweet app
Unless I’m an idiot user (it’s just a timer really) I couldn’t even start a session without subscribing. So how is this a free app exactly?
I’ve been using this app for years with the basic timer functions. Now it’s completely unusable unless you pay for the subscription. Ridiculous - deleting the app and finding something else
loved the app for simplicity but the new watch app creates extra lag time when i just need to quickly start and stop cycles
Logging over midnight seems to generate bad data.
I understand developers should make money, and I would be happy to pay a one-time fee for the basic features that used to be completely free. But I’m not going to be paying an ongoing subscription for the basic pomodoro timer feature that I need and a bunch of features that I would never use.
This app really lives up to its name: it helps me to focus, with timed work blocks and rest blocks. Also, I love that it syncs between all of my devices, so that I can start it on my computer, leave my office for a coffee break, and the timer continues on my watch and phone. Recently after two years of perfect functioning, I had a small glitch between devices. I emailed the support team and they responded in minutes. Very helpful, friendly, and resolves my problem. So, I was back focusing in no time. Thanks Focus team!
